Nostalgia Chocolate Fountain ⑥

I just absolutely love the idea of a fountain of chocolate! Big or small; chocolate rain makes for a unique attraction. There are many variations of these available for home use, though I wouldn't be sad having a commercial fountain! The road of creativity is never-ending, but I haven't seen too much originality when it comes to dipping items...where's the bacon people?

The center piece and inner coil come out for cleaning, which makes it easier, but one of the downfalls (in my opinion) is the mess this thing makes. It's probably best to make sure you're right near the sink because chocolate gets EVERYWHERE!

The worst part about the whole thing is the process of making the chocolate. It's utterly confusing at first; mixing a tablespoon of oil to every so many ounces of chocolate, but the chocolate has to be melted, so then you have to measure it out because the bag doesn't evenly distribute. If you're good with numbers this won't be a problem, but it was just more complicated than I preferred.

HOWEVER, the most awesome part is the chocolate...oh the chocolate! There are so many colors to choose from that you could really go all out to color coordinate a party. The level of awesomeness could get pretty ridiculous! Depending on how many tiers you get and where you buy it; it ranges from $20-$50 or so. Big mess; big fun!
