Sweet Tomatoes - The Woodlands, TX ⑦
The first time I ever at Sweet Tomatoes, I thought it was slightly pretentious; the price for an adult seemed outrageous for a salad! However, after having eaten there multiple times, I would pay it because it was worth it! The salad buffet is large with not only a plethora of toppings and dressings to choose from; but they also have pre-made salads with a variety of flavors to meet any craving. My favorites are the Thai and Caesar; ooh, and I also love that broccoli concoction with the white creamy sauce (whatever that is) and cranberries!
They don’t just have salad though; once you’re inside, you’ll see they have other buffet options such as home-made soups, breads, pastas, and even desserts! Their 9-Grain bread with their home-made, whipped, honey butter is so good that I’d pay full price just to eat that!
The only thing they missed is that their salad bar does not offer meat of any kind; no cubed ham, grilled chicken slivers or even pepperoni. For a salad bar this large, I would definitely appreciate meat options. Otherwise, this is a great place for lunch or dinner; whether you’re in a hurry or looking to spend quality time with the family.
