I NEVER would have known about this truck had it not just shown up one day as I was standing outside a church. I've tried quite a few snow cone stands and shaved ice stations around various towns, but this was a cool experience. Yes, the truck is designed with a tropical feel, and they play much more awesome music than the new creepy ice cream vans lately, but the best part about this brand...
YOU GET TO POOR YOUR OWN FLAVORS! The truck actually has a self-serve dispenser that allows YOU to decide how MANY flavors you want and how MUCH of each flavor you want! You pay one price then put whatever flavors you like and you can poor to your heart's content!
But get this...Kona has their own signature syrups where they've reduced the sugar by 40%, and added VITAMIN C & D! Not only are these icees delicious...they're now more nutritious! If you ever see one of these...STOP THEM! You can also check their website to have them come to your church, event or even your home for birthday parties!
The only thing I'd like to see is something geared more towards adults, but I get it.
