Holiday Inn & Suites - Conroe TX ⑦
This was a pleasant experience; the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and our King Suite was fairly large. It had your standard King-sized bed with a dresser and flat screen TV; and I must say the bed was pretty comfortable.
There was a separate living area with a couch, chair and ottoman, and a small dining table. The furniture was a bit outdated; which doesn't necessarily appeal to the eye, but more importantly it was hard and rickety. I definitely appreciated having that separate space though because it makes you feel less like you're in a cage.
It also had a kitchenette; consisting of a nicely sized counter, mini sink and fridge, microwave, and something not pictured here was a tray with a coffee maker and various coffees and teas with creamer and sugar! There was plenty of cabinet space to hold groceries. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the floors; they creaked very loudly when you walked, so if anyone was beneath us...I apologize.
Great service, large room, and plenty of amenities makes this a decent place to stay. They did tell us they were getting ready to remodel, so all of their rooms will be updated with contemporary furnishings. It's about $149 per night for two people in Conroe TX.
