Cici's Pizza - REVAMPED ⑦
Did not give this place the time of day several years ago; their buffet was sorry in every way. They didn't have many options, the options they did have were always cold and rubbery with no flavor whatsoever, and it was always a mess. When I heard Cici's had upgraded by using fresh ingredients and better quality dough, I was skeptical; but I learned not to take upgrades with a grain of salt.
When they say they upgraded, they weren't lying. Now, it's still a cheap buffet, but there is a WORLD of difference! Their pizza's are always warm (replenished promptly), their crust is crispy with MUCH better flavor, and the change in ingredients has pretty much changed the molecular structure of the pizza!
And if you show up while they have their new "Flatbread" pizzas...GET TWO PLATES! They are NOT messin' around. Chicken Bacon Club, Spinach Alfredo, and Honey BBQ Chicken take the cake with intense flavors and crispy, buttery crust. Way to step up your game Cici's! Major downfall at the Conroe TX location; Friday nights are really busy, which means a lot of wait time if understaffed.
