Days Inn & Suites - Humble TX ⑦
Having stayed in several Days Inn & Suites, including the wealthy community of the Woodlands that appeared like it was in the ghetto; I was very pleasantly surprised by the Humble, TX location. The building had been freshly painted and landscaped, but there were a couple other aspects that caught me off guard.
The rooms had been completely renovated; upgraded with new furniture, flooring, decor, and lighting. Their color palette of blue and brown was very welcoming, the beds were comfortable, and it was a really nice place for a Days Inn.
My FAVORITE part was the kitchenette! It wasn't some small little corner of the room with a mini-microwave and mini-fridge; it was a standard size refrigerator with a two-burner stove top, cabinet-mounted microwave, sink, and tons of cabinet space! It was SO nice to have that extra room and store up on food we could actually cook!
I'd also like to give a shout out to the customer service and registration process. You can book online at Priceline.com; they don't require a credit card, and they quickly sign you in, hand you your keys, and send you on your way! Considering it was $60 a night for the Scottish Inn where bed bugs ate my flesh off; $60 for this place gave you a whole LOT more!
