Comfort Inn - Conroe TX ⑥

Comfort Inn in Conroe Texas is a fairly nice place. The rooms are around $125-135 a night, they offer free WI-FI in every room, and their free breakfast is a lot more extensive than most "continental" breakfasts. There were multiple flavored "Texas-shaped" (and sized) waffles, various bagels and spreads, biscuits, English muffins, sausage, eggs, cereal, and coffee served 24 hours a day with various creamers and sweeteners!

The doubles are a lot bigger than most I've been in, thus far; very spacious with lots of extra room to spare, which I love! The beds were queen-sized and VERY comfortable, there's a microwave and mini-fridge, lots of good cable channels, many options for lighting with built-in outlets, and the room service was prompt and thorough.

There was a small room with four pieces of exercise equipment and an outdoor pool. You had to get the treadmill key from the front desk, the bike didn't fit the length of my legs after adjusting it to the max, and the elliptical was wobbly and unsturdy, but still a nice addition.

The only things I didn't care for were the bathroom shower rod was hung crooked, so the curtain wouldn't close; getting water all over the floor, the towel rack kept falling off the wall, and there wasn't a desk, but overall it was a very comfortable and peaceful getaway.
