Chia Seeds Superfood ⑨


Other than the health benefits, there is absolutely no reason to eat these things. They have no flavor whatsoever and they get stuck in your teeth. However, they do add interesting benefits to your food. You can put them in anything; I used to put mine in my breakfast oatmeal. They are loaded with healthy fats, antioxidants, fiber, protein, and a whole lot of other stuff.

This is the bag I used, but the brand doesn't matter; chia seeds are chia seeds, regardless of who manufactures them. You can literally put them in or on anything; smoothies, salads, pasta, veggies, meat, you name it. Shoot, sprinkle a spoonful in your morning cup of coffee if you want!
