Radisson Hotel - Schaumburg, IL ⑦
My first experience at a Radisson Hotel and it was pleasant. We got there later in the afternoon, so we didn't fully get to take advantage of everything, but it was nicely decorated and clean.
The room had a VERY comfortable bed! It wasn't Tempurpedic, but it felt like it. There was a nice sized, flat screen TV with plenty of counter top space, and the bathroom was nice. The lighting actually caught my attention because it was dimly lit, which made the ambiance very serene. There was a mini-fridge and microwave and overall a relaxing environment.
Their lobby was very nice; contemporary decor with a LOT of various, comfortable seating, and plenty of outlets for your electronics. I didn't use the space, accept to stand in it while I waited for my ride, but it really was nice. They had an indoor pool that wasn't extravagant, but it served its purpose.
Standard rooms run slightly under $100, but we found ours on Priceline for under $60.
