Red Roof Inn - Arlington Heights, IL ④
A previous review of Red Roof Inn was awarded a 7; but this location took a straight up nose dive in Arlington Heights, IL! Don't let this photo (from their website mind you) fool you. Though this location ranks very high on customer service with one particular team member; the overall experience was less than desirable.
The rooms are much smaller than they look. The floors were part wood and part carpet; both which were filthy and visibly had not been cleaned in who knows how long. It was so gross that I wore shoes anytime I left the bed. I've stayed three times thus far at this location and each time is really just dirty. The bed sheets smell like smoke, the bathtubs fill up with dirty water within seconds, and the furniture is sticky.
Again, I left a very high review on TripAdvisor for this location; but it was ONLY for one particular employee who went out of her way to help us. The hotel itself is not kept in the greatest conditions. Their prices range anywhere from $40-$80/night, depending on things I'm unaware of.
