Weber Grill Restaurant ⑦
Ohhh the ups and downs of this experience. An outdoor grill the size of a small apartment; cool.
Atmosphere, lighting, decor, and ambiance; warm and welcoming.
Cooking on commercial Weber grills in the kitchen; very cool.
The food; down, down baby. My family of 6 and I had a $35 gift card; the plan was to simply share a couple of appetizers. We asked our waitress what she'd recommend, and this family plate was her suggestion. Family plate implied to us there was enough to feed a family; wrong. This plate was one serving, for one person. Imagine the hysterical laughter when this plate arrived at our table and I began to split that peace of cornbread into 6 pieces. Even more comical was my sister-in-law dividing up the mac-n-cheese; you get two noodles, you get two noodles, and you get two noodles.
Needless to say, we all pretty much filled up on the complimentary pretzel rolls. Which by the way, were the best I've ever had in my life! And the soft cheese spread that came with it was well worth it all!
The only thing we lacked understanding on was how that one plate ended up costing us more than the $35 gift card. After discussing it with the waitress; we ordered the three-meat option. One of our meats was brisket; which by itself cost $10, but when added to the family plate cost an additional $3. There were only two slices on the plate. Did you catch that? Two slices of brisket cost $13.
I'll definitely go back for the pretzel bread and perhaps try something other than this plate, but for $35; that one plate was not worth it.
