OMNIMAX Theater - St. Louis, MO ⑨
This is THE best movie experience I’ve had thus far; unlike any other theater I’ve ever seen! Most theaters have a flat screen in front of the room; this Omnimax is five stories high, and completely surrounds your vision at 360 degrees! Not only engulfed in every direction of your sight, but paired with the quality of surround sound and 3D/4D; it’s like you’re actually IN the film!!! They have multiple flicks to choose from; I would imagine the actual films with story lines and actors etc. are cool, but my favorites are the landscapes. Whether you’re exploring the elements of the earth or skiing down a mountain; it’s like you’re right there on location; phenomenal and breathtaking! Surprisingly, tickets are only $10 for adults; I would pay more than that if necessary. Seriously, you’re not just watching a movie here…YOU’RE IN IT!
If there was only one drawback to mention, it would be that they don’t allow snacks in the room like most theaters; at least they didn’t when I was there. I love to have popcorn and pop when I go, but it was such a thrilling time that I really didn’t care!
