Joe's Pizza - Conroe, TX ⑦

When I first saw this place, I made unfair assumptions based on the appearance of the building. I could tell it wasn’t a chain, but it appeared to have been there a very long time and it seemed kind of run down. When we went inside, it wasn’t necessarily in the greatest condition either. You can tell the carpet, tables, and chairs are outdated and the décor isn’t anything that makes a statement. The menu was fairly standard for a pizza place, but I was not prepared for two things; the size and taste of the pizza.

Their large pizza is HUGE, served on one of those pizza stands, and the aroma was strong; I could tell something was different about their pies. Long story short; they TASTE AMAZING! The crust was slightly crispy, the sauce tasted like an original house recipe, and the ingredients were fresh. There was a lot of flavor in every bite and it’s really hard to impress me with pizza because they all mostly taste the same. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, sit-down pizza place; I HIGHLY recommend Joe’s Pizza!!!
